I know that desperate times call for desperate measures, but use your heads to take advantage of the times and not the opposite.  The fact that families  would even consider selling their gold & silver jewelry collection because of infomercials makes me question the intelligence of our nation.  It is obvious that these scam artists are paying millions for these sleazy commercials because they are making millions scamming people.  It is also well-known that weights & measures used by jewelers and buyers are 90% inaccurate for reading gold content.  In addition, why would anyone send this valuable jewelry through the mail.  Have the gold appraised by an independent party for $20 before being scammed for $200.  It makes sense.
