I have a 5 year old nephew that is better than me at video games. I found myself in awe today as our babysitting date turned into me watching him out pace me in Indiana Jones on PlayStation2. I’m looking at him thinking about how much he will be able to accomplish with the technology at his hands. His designer baby clothes have turned into hip jeans and t-shirts. I didn’t think that 5 year olds could comprehend this level of video games, but I soon learned a lesson. I couldn’t pull him away from the TV long enough to get down a peanut butter and fluff.
He loves army guys. I wonder if he will be fascinated with something new soon and his sister awaits the new Jellycat series. His little sister and her Barefoot Dreams outfits will certainly have a cool older brother to look after her. I tried to get him to try my original Nintendo but he said the graphic weren’t good enough.
