I’m pretty sure I haven’t checked my MySpace account in over 2 months. I am already getting sick of Facebook. It is one thing to keep in touch with friends, but these sites give a little too much information. However, we are now starting to see some hybrid social networking websites that offer a lot more than generic communication. One site that stood out to me is called Acobay. Acobay allows users to connect with people based on cars they drive, pets they have, or even places they have visited.
I found their travel section for Bermuda really helpful when I was looking for feedback on a vacation I was planning. We should see quite a lot of traffic going to these sites as users are demanding more specific information and results. The bottom line is that if you plan on going somewhere, buying something, or need general feedback, you should check out their information.
