For generations, parents passed down a very damaging dinner rule “you may not leave the table until you clean your entire plate.” Now, with portions size rapidly multiplying in restaurants, this rule is causing many people to be over weight.
Portion control is a huge factor in losing weight. Cutting back on carbs and sugar is great, but simply cutting back on the amount of food you consume is better.

Helpful hints:
• Eat a salad with low-fat dressing before your main course. It is a sure way to cut down the amount of food you consume.
• As soon as your meal is delivered, ask for a take-out container and put in at least half of your meal. Not only do you save calories, but you get two meals for one!
