I have been talking to my friends a lot about the stock market being a finance major in college that is no longer in the field. In addition, I pulled my money out of the market in 2006 to buy a house and invest in real estate. I will not claim I saw the crash coming because I didn’t. It was pure luck and chance for me. However, I feel as right now is a great time to get back into stock trading.
Some of my friends have lost over one hundred thousand dollars and aren’t even in their thirties yet. My sentiments are that one person’s loss is another’s gain. We are a capitalist society. Well, we used to be. Online trading has really developed into a great resource for me. I can now go online and buy stock for less than eight dollars a trade and sell it at a click of a mouse. I don’t have to deal with annoying brokers. I have an online broker that handles all of my needs and makes the buying/selling painless. My suggestion is that if you are young and able, buy these discounted stocks and sit on them for a long time.
