The Stanley Cup Finals are in full swing, with the ‘Detroit Red Wings leading the Pittsburgh Penguins three games to two in the best of seven series. The Stanley Cup Finals this year are an exact replica of last year’s matchup between the Red Wings and the Penguins as both teams have won their respective conferences for two years in a row now. The Penguins boast possibly the most dangerous one-two punch in the history of hockey with team captain Sideny Crosby and teammate Evgeni Malkin but they still trail the Red Wings by one game in the series.

The Red Wings plastered the Penguins on Saturday night by a score of 5-0 in Detroit but the series moves back to Pittsburgh for game six on Tuesday night. Each team has won all of its home games so far in the Stanley Cup Finals. Detroit as won all three of their games in Detroit while Pittsburgh won their two games in the Steel City. The Penguins and their fans are hoping that the home ice trend will continue in game six so the Penguins can live to see another day.

The Red Wings are receiving a long rest following their game five win. The team is riddled with injuries and exhaustion but has two full days off before facing Pittsburgh in game six on Tuesday. Game six should be just as good as the first five games in this series as the Red Wings look to defeat the Penguins for the second year in a row and claim their fifth title in 12 years and their 12th overall.
